UO Today # 446 - Frances Moore Lappé, democracy advocate, world food and hunger expert, and author of Diet for a Small Planet, discusses the power of mind frames--our core assumptions about how the world works--that determine what we can see and what we believe to be possible. She identifies the dominant, disempowering frame now driving our planet toward disaster. She also talks about the empowerment that “living democracy” can provide. |
